The ELASTEC Inlander (aluminum workboat) is a hybrid of hull styles (Skiff, Jon, Sled) to give you a multi-purpose boat with unique capabilities. The modified V hull with a blunt bow, high sides, and a wide stance increase the payload to double that of similar boats, an impressive 4,000 lbs./1,800 kg – added to which they can be lashed together for even more versatility. The Inlander is perfect for oil spill response, emergency response, rescue, cargo hauling, and commercial fishing applications.
The wide hull and 36 inch tall sides provide added stability for working over the sides. The modified V provides more comfort at speed than a Jon boat or a flat bottom boat. The Inlander can also be used in conjunction with the Jenson Lake Mower to cut a path in aquatic vegetation for response operations.
PROJECT: BOW LOADING INLANDER

Description
This ELASTEC Inlander was built with a bow door and loading ramps. It can be brought to the shore so that heavy equipment can be loaded and unloaded much like a landing craft. With a 4,000 lb. payload capacity, the Inlander can haul fairly large pieces of equipment to remote locations.

PROJECT: OUTRIGGER INLANDER

Description
Some oil spill response scenarios require the use of outrigger arms for collecting the spilled oil. The ELASTEC Inlander can be fitted with these outriggers as an option. They could also be used to help collect floating trash, sargassum seaweed, and other types of floating aquatic vegetation.

PROJECT: FULL CABIN INLANDER

Description
The City of Chicago needed an Inlander with a full cabin to travel long distances in inclement weather. It has become their lead command boat. They also employ the work boat to help recover floating trash and debris on the Chicago River. It features a climate-controlled wheelhouse.
