Every Inlander is custom-built to a specific mission.
Full Cabin Command Boat
The City of Chicago needed an Inlander with a full cabin to travel long distances in inclement weather. It has become their lead command boat. They also employ the work boat to help recover floating trash and debris on the Chicago River. It features a climate-controlled wheelhouse.
Bow Loading Inlander
This ELASTEC Inlander was built with a bow door and loading ramps. It can be brought to the shore so that heavy equipment can be loaded and unloaded much like a landing craft. With a 4,000 lb. payload capacity, the Inlander can haul fairly large pieces of equipment to remote locations.
Water Survey Vessel
The United States Geological Survey needed a survey boat with a port to take water samples. A tube with a removable cover was engineered onto an Inlander to aid in this task. It is used to monitor pollutant levels and stability in the ecosystem.
Outrigger Inlander
Some oil spill response scenarios require the use of outrigger arms for collecting the spilled oil. The ELASTEC Inlander can be fitted with these outriggers as an option. They could also be used to help collect floating trash, sargassum seaweed, and other types of floating aquatic vegetation.
Algae Bloom Testing Barge
The United States Army Corps of Engineers need a barge that could handle their equipment load. This Inlander barge was designed to carry testing equipment for ways to recover algae blooms.
Commercial Fishing Boat
The ELASTEC Inlander can be used as a commercial fishing boat. It has a shallow draft and is capable of carrying 4,000 lb. payloads. Options can be added to aid in the deployment and retrieval of nets and other equipment if necessary
