A rugged open-deck utility barge built for sheltered waterways — minimal moving parts, maximum workspace, and a custom deck arrangement for any maintenance or marina task.

Unlike purpose-built response craft, the Platform Workboat is designed to be the stable waterborne workshop — a blank canvas you configure exactly for your operation, with custom equipment bolted or welded directly to the all-aluminum deck.
Custom deck arrangements
Your design or ours — the deck layout, console position, seating, and installed equipment are all defined to your project spec.
Minimal upkeep
Single outboard propulsion and an open-deck design mean fewer maintenance intervals and lower long-term operating costs than specialised vessels.
Removable handrails & open access
Lift-off aluminum safety handrails are recess-mounted — remove them for unobstructed loading of wheel-on equipment and storage containers.
HULL CONFIGURATIONS
Square modified catamaran
Maximum deck area and platform stability. Best for operations requiring heavy equipment or large working surfaces. Anchor platform and heavy maintenance builds.
Round modified catamaran
Lighter and more maneuverable in confined spaces. Ideal for wastewater lagoons, small ponds, and pump/aerator maintenance where a tilt trailer launch is needed.
Standard modified catamaran
General-purpose twin-hull configuration. Suited for lake maintenance, boom towing, and dock work where a balanced mix of stability and draft is required.

Anchor Platform Boat
This platform boat was built to assist in anchor setting and positioning. The combination of the wench and davit allow for easy handling of moorings and anchors.
Mini Platform Boat
This platform boat was built to be lightweight and maneuverable. It has a shorter length for use in small bodies of water or wastewater lagoons. The cutout is designed to aid in the maintenance of pumps and aerators. It was offered with a tilt trailer to aid in launching without a boat ramp.
Lake Maintenance Boat
This platform boat was built to provide a stable working platform for all types of waterway maintenance. It features removable hand-rails to allow loading and unloading, and easier access to the water.
Bow Ramp Platform Boat
This 19 foot platform workboat is used to supply dredging barges. It is equipped with a bow loading ramp to load and unload oil drums and other supplies to the barge.
Sheltered-water utility — any configuration
The Platform Workboat excels in calm, protected waterways where a stable, customizable barge is more effective than a fast-response vessel.
Marina & dock maintenance
Stable platform for over-water maintenance tasks — painting dock pilings, replacing cleats, inspecting dock structures from the waterside.
Oil boom towing
Lake maintenance version can tow oil containment booms across calm water bodies for spill response or pre-positioning exercises.
Anchor setting & mooring
Davit and winch combination makes the Platform Workboat ideal for setting and repositioning moorings and anchors in marinas.
Barge resupply
19 ft bow-ramp model supplies dredging barges — load oil drums and heavy supplies dockside, then unload directly onto the receiving barge.
Pump & aerator maintenance
Mini platform variant has a hull cutout allowing direct-access maintenance of underwater pumps and aerators in wastewater lagoons.
Waterway inspection
Stable open deck serves as a survey platform — bolt sampling equipment, sensor mounts, or inspection gear directly to the aluminum deck.
